Jr. High Chiefs set to run at state meet

Bellefontaine Middle School will be well represented at the Jr. High State Championship Cross Country Meet at Dublin Jerome this weekend.

Grace Brown will be looking to defend her Division II state title.

Jake Moreland will try to bring home his first title in Division II.

Brown is undefeated on the season.

She is the top-ranked runner in the state this year (all divisions) with a school record time of 11:20.

Brown along with the Jr. Lady Chiefs team will run Sunday at 1:45 p.m.

Jake Moreland leads the BMS boys team.

He has won 6 out of 9 invitationals this year.

Moreland holds the school record time of 10:46.

Currently, he’s ranked Number 8 in the state (all divisions), but Number 1 in Division II.

Moreland and the Jr. Chiefs team will run Sunday at 2:15 p.m.
