BHS students learn from “Hotel Impossible”

Several Bellefontaine High School business students enjoyed a hands-on learning experience this semester.

BHS Entrepreneurship students recently completed their "Hotel Impossible" projects.

Students were given a set amount of money to renovate and re-brand a struggling hotel concept. Teams then made informed business decisions based on the limited resources and capital they received.

A business plan, resort map, 3D model rendering of the renovated resort, and social media marketing of their concepts were presented to BHS staff members.

Students pitched their ideas to their potential investors, hoping to generate enough capital to begin their re-branding.

Patrick Stolly, Carter Caudill, and Jamison Clement's hotel concept "Lakeside Breeze" was awarded the most investment dollars by staff judges.

The BHS Entrepreneurship class is taught by Aaron Peitsmeyer.
