The tenth episode of “Chieftain Roll Call” has been released.

The Bellefontaine High School Key Club launched the new podcast in January.

The weekly show focuses on BHS Athletics and student organizations.

The most recent show features longtime Bellefontaine Examiner Sports Editor Matt Hammond.

Matt has been with the local newspaper for nearly 24 years.

He’s covered Bellefontaine football for over 20 years.

Hammond reflected on some of the Chiefs’ best teams and top performers on the gridiron.

He said the ’99 team was blessed with speed and playmakers.

BHS enjoyed their deepest postseason run in school history, advancing to the Final 8 that fall.

Hammond gave a long list of great players at several position groups in Chieftain Football history.

He also reminisced about special wins and moments for BHS over the years.

“Chieftain Roll Call” is hosted by Bill Tipple.

Teacher/coach Rick Reed and BHS student-athlete Jack Varner are regular contributors, too.

BHS Key Club members and students in Aaron Gregor’s TV Production class help produce and record the show.

“Chieftain Roll Call” is sponsored by Easton Water Solutions.

Easton Water will fund the Key Club Scholarship, which is presented each year to at least one BHS grad.
