The Bellefontaine Class of 2022 kicked off their final school year in style early Wednesday morning.

Senior Sunrise was held at AcuSport Stadium.

Nearly 50 seniors gathered to celebrate their last first day of classes.

High School Principal Dr. Pam Noeth and School Resource Officer Doug Walters joined them.

The event was coordinated by senior National Honor Society member Lily Turner.

Turner said the sunrise signifies the start of the school year.

She added, “I think it went really well. It was really nice for all of us to get together.”

Senior Sunset will be held at the end of the school year.
