The Bellefontaine Middle School Band hosted its spring concert and awards ceremony last week in the BHS Auditorium.
6th, 7th, and 8th grade band students performed.
BMS Band Director Heather Johnson then recognized the group for their hard work this school year.
There were two special awards given to 8th graders.
The 110% Award is given to a student who always has a good attitude towards learning and tries their best no matter the challenge.
The Director's Award is given to a student who shows natural musical talent coupled with hard work that is worthy of recognition.
Ella Fultz received the 110% Award.
Noah Torsell received the Director's Award.
They received plaques and their names will be displayed on the classroom plaque for years to come.
Also, every 8th grader received an award as well as twelve 7th graders and eleven 6th graders.
