The second episode of “Chieftain Coaches Corner” featured two BHS football coaches and a player this week.

The podcast offers in-depth talk from coaches and other guests, too.

Host Don Hensley was joined by three guests on the new show: Bellefontaine head football coach Jason Brown, linebackers coach Aaron Peitsmeyer, and senior standout Alex Caudill.

Coach Brown talked about the first three games, including the Chiefs’ growth week-by-week.

The longtime head coach also discussed the significance of last week’s win vs. Licking Heights.

Peitsmeyer explained returning to his alma mater after spending 15 seasons as an assistant coach at Marysville.

He also reflected on the influence his late father had on him and other players.

Caudill, who registered 16 tackles in the win against Licking Heights, detailed changing from defensive end to linebacker.

The Chiefs will host rival Benjamin Logan Friday at 7 p.m. at AcuSport Stadium.
