Now is the time to save money on your back-to-school shopping.

Ohio’s annual tax-free weekend started this morning and runs through Sunday night.

You can buy several items in store or online for tax-free.

Clothing items costing less than $75 per item along with school supplies and instructional material costing less than $20 per item are tax-free.

There’s no limit on how much you can spend as long as each item is under the price cap.

Jewelry, cosmetics, and handbags are not covered.

Ohio started the sales tax holiday weekend in August 2015. Consumers saved approximately $3.3 million that weekend.

Bellefontaine City Schools opens the school year on September 6th.
