Bellefontaine City Schools is spotlighting two employees during National School Social Work Week (March 5th-11th).

BCS salutes Aidan Comstock and Treva Snyder.

Name: Aidan Comstock

Title: Family and Community Liaison

Years of experience: 20 years. This is my second year at BCS. Prior to this opportunity, I worked as a caseworker for children and families in Alaska, Franklin County, and Logan County.

Why you enjoy working at BCS: I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my passion, knowledge, and resources with BCS staff, students, and families. Having had two daughters that graduated from BCS, the Chieftain Community has always been an important part of my family. BCS has amazing teachers, staff, and administrators that truly care about every student beyond the classroom.

What you love doing outside of school: I love traveling with my family to new places. When I'm not traveling, I enjoy working out, spending the day with my adult daughters, volunteering, having coffee with friends, going to sporting events, and learning to golf.

Name: Treva Snyder

Title: School Navigator/Case Manager (through TCN Behavioral Health)

Years of experience: This is my first year as a school navigator at BCS. I've been a case manager for five years.

Why you enjoy working at BCS: I enjoy working with the staff and students and helping families that are in need of support. Also, the staff at BES is a great group of people to work with.

What you love doing outside of school: I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy taking care of my spiritual and physical needs by going to my meetings and going for walks.
