BHS Homecoming Parade a big hit

A huge crowd enjoyed the Bellefontaine High School Homecoming Parade Thursday night.

The parade featured the homecoming court, fall athletic teams, select clubs, and BHS Marching Band.

Each group was recognized during a community pep rally at AcuSport Stadium.

The rally concluded with fireworks.

The queen will be announced during pregame festivities tonight.

The king will be crowned on Saturday night at the dance, which starts at 8 p.m.

The queen candidates are Ally Barker, Olivia Ullom, and Lily Palmer.

The king candidates are Corbin Baker, Alex Caudill, and Jack Hutchins.

The attendants are freshman Ava Kunze and junior Mia Oppy.

There will be a BHS Homecoming Food Truck Extravaganza tonight.

The food trucks, which start serving at 5 p.m., will be set up by the BHS Spirit Rock near Harding Street.

Food trucks from Frog Sneeze Mac-N-Cheese, Dave’s Tasty Dogs, Fruit Bucket Smoothies, Fork in the Road, Traveling Brew Coffee, Catt’s Wagon, Where There’s Smoke, Fish & Que, and Drake & Co. will be featured.

Bellefontaine (4-1) will host Tecumseh (3-2) in football tonight at 7 p.m.
