The following is from Bellefontaine City Schools Superintendent Brad Hall.

Dear Bellefontaine Families:

I am happy to announce that Bellefontaine City Schools will be working in partnership with the Logan County Health District to support our community.

While not all of the specific details have been worked out yet, I can report that on Monday, November 22nd, and Tuesday, November 23rd, the Logan County Health District will use Bellefontaine High School to offer vaccinations to children age 5+, provide vaccinations to any adult who wants to get one, and to offer the booster to all who qualify.

This will require the district to make Monday, November 22nd, and Tuesday, November 23rd, professional development days in the district without K-12 students present. Those days will not be remote learning days.

Once all of the details have been finalized, the Logan County Health District will develop a flyer to inform the community. I will share that flyer with all of you and post it on the district’s website.
