BHS Homecoming Parade kicks off weekend

A huge crowd enjoyed the Bellefontaine High School Homecoming Parade Thursday night.

The parade featured the homecoming court, fall athletic teams, select clubs, and BHS Marching Band.

Each group was recognized during a community pep rally at AcuSport Stadium.

The rally concluded with fireworks.

The queen will be announced during pregame festivities tonight.

The king will be crowned on Saturday night at the dance, which starts at 8 p.m.

The queen candidates are Vivian Eader, Gabby Stolly, and Lily Turner.

The king candidates are David Moody, Owen Standley, and Ethan Yoder.

The attendants are freshman Jayden Sims, sophomore Kinsley Scott, and junior Olivia Ullom.

There will be a BHS Homecoming Food Truck Extravaganza tonight.

The food trucks, which start serving at 5 p.m., will be set up by the BHS Spirit Rock near Harding Street.

Food trucks from Where There’s Smoke, The Taco Bout, Catt’s Wagon, Fork in the Road, and Fruit Bucket Smoothies will be featured.

Bellefontaine (5-1) will host Springfield Shawnee (4-2) in football tonight at 7 p.m.
