3rd-graders perform “Karaoke Christmas”

Bellefontaine Intermediate School 3rd-graders performed “Karaoke Christmas” in the BHS Auditorium earlier this month.

The program was about a school hosting their annual karaoke Christmas party.

The school principal (played by Bexley Daring) and DJ Jinglez (played by Houston Johnson) keep the party hopping and ask the students to choose songs from the Christmas stocking to sing for the audience.

The party opened with "Karaoke Christmas" followed by 5 songs chosen from the stocking, including "Frosty the Snowman," "Run, Rudolph, Run" (solos by Austin Bland and Tamlyn Price), "Candy Cane Lane" (featuring the Candy Cane dancers), "Jingle Bell Rock" (featuring small group singers), and "Believe" (featuring the scarf dancers and solo by Luna Barger).

The show ended with DJ Jinglez choosing the last song for the kids, titled "Sparklejollytwinklejingley" (featuring the Sparkle dancers).

The students lit up the stage with their smiles and Christmas attire.

The show was directed by BIS music teacher Darcy Neeld.
