Bellefontaine High School teacher Jeanie Tipple is the district’s winner of the 2023 Quest Federal Credit Union Teacher of the Year Award.

Tipple is finishing her 28th year teaching for Bellefontaine City Schools. She teaches Spanish.

Tipple said, “I feel honored to win this prestigious award. Each day in the classroom is a learning experience for both my students and me. I also work with an amazing staff.”

Tipple was nominated by two colleagues whose children she previously taught.

Quest Federal Credit Union honored six outstanding educators at their annual awards banquet Wednesday afternoon at the new Sloan Inn at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.

One recipient was recognized from Bellefontaine City Schools, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Riverside, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, and Calvary Christian.

Each award winner was presented with a glass trophy and gift card.

The recipients include:

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center – Jason Robinson
