Bellefontaine City Schools math teacher Josh Wallace has earned a prestigious award.

Last Wednesday, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s Top 15 graduating seniors celebrated a special educator in their educational journey during OHP’s Top 15 Seniors Honored Educator Recognition Ceremony.

BHS senior McKenize Davenport recognized Mr. Wallace.

Wallace was Davenport’s pre-algebra teacher in 8th grade.

Wallace now teaches math at BHS.

Davenport will graduate from the OHP Automotive Academy on May 24th.

She thanked Wallace in front of his peers Monday morning at BHS.

Davenport plans on studying nursing at Clark State.
