Coach Brown talked about last Friday’s key league win vs. Jonathan Alder.

The Chiefs beat the Pioneers 27-7.

The game was tied 7-7 at the half.

Fogan was sensational.

He rushed for a game-high 176 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Fogan added a 9-yard TD catch.

Several teammates delivered big games, too.

Outside linebacker Harper Scott recorded 9 tackles and a strip sack in the pivotal 3rd quarter.

Zain Bailey recovered the fumble on the strip sack at the Pioneers’ 14-yard line.

The Chiefs then scored to take a commanding 20-7 lead.

Fellow outside linebacker Eli Moore tallied 10 tackles.

Brown praised his team for their outstanding second half, then previewed the Week 9 matchup at Kenton Ridge.

The Cougars are led by running back Gavin Higgins, who is the fifth-leading rusher in the CBC with 832 yards.

Egler, who’s in the BHS Athletic Hall of Fame, detailed the great running backs over the years at BHS.

Egler discussed the progress of his two position groups – running backs and cornerbacks.
