The Bellefontaine High School Athletic Boosters hosted A Night at the Races Saturday evening at the Logan County Fairgrounds.

176 attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, drinks, live auctions, 50/50 drawings, and more inside the new show arena.

The popular fundraiser featured eight pre-recorded horse races displayed on a large screen.

The preliminary net earnings were approximately $15,000.

The money raised will be distributed to all athletic teams at BHS to help with uniforms, training equipment, team building activities, and other special purchases.

Approximately $6,000 in raffle prizes were given out.

Another $2,400 in cash between horse betting and 50/50 raffle were awarded.
