Bellefontaine Middle School students enjoyed a lesson outside the classroom on Wednesday.

A group of BMS+ students visited the Bellefontaine Regional Airport.

Jim Holycross, who’s the airport’s operations manager, led the tour.

Students learned about Midwest Corporate Air and all of the possible careers involved in aviation.

In August, Bellefontaine Middle School was awarded a renewal grant from the Ohio Department of Education.

The grant funds BMS+, which offers before and after school programming.

The program runs Monday through Friday morning from 6:45 to 7:35 for homework help.

After school programming is held Monday through Thursday afternoon from 2:35 to 4:35.

The after school portion offers a snack, homework help, enrichment, and specialized assistance in math and reading.
