BCS lends helping hand at Columbus Marathon

BCS students and staff volunteers

Over 60 students and staff from Bellefontaine High School and Bellefontaine Middle School volunteered at the Columbus Marathon on Sunday.

Members of the BHS National Honor Society, BHS cheerleaders, BHS swim team, BHS Envirothon team, BHS girls cross country team, and BMS cross country team worked the finish line.

There were 1,738 runners in the full marathon, including 4 Bellefontaine residents.

There were 4,912 runners in the half marathon, including 3 from Bellefontaine.

Bellefontaine City Schools has sent volunteers to the Columbus Marathon since 2013.
