The latest episode of “Chieftain Roll Call” dives into professional and college sports.

Initially, the Bellefontaine High School Key Club launched the podcast in January 2022.

The newly-formed Chieftain Backers are in charge of the podcast this school year.

Typically, the weekly show focuses on BHS Athletics and student organizations.

The most recent show features Bellefontaine assistant football coach Rick Reed and BHS students Jack Varner and Austin Hammond.

The podcast reflected on Tom Brady announcing his second retirement on Wednesday.

The guests talked in-depth about the AFC and NFC conference championship games.

The officiating in the Bengals/Chiefs game was a focal point.

The Eagles rise to dominance was also explained.

Each guest made their Super Bowl pick, too.

Kansas City and Philadelphia will battle in Glendale, Arizona, on February 12th at 6:30 p.m.

The show then turned to Ohio State football and men’s basketball.

Roll Call discussed Brian Hartline’s promotion to offensive coordinator.

The guests then detailed the bumpy ride for Ohio State men’s basketball, including head coach Chris Holtmann.

The Bucks are just 2-8 in 2023.

“Chieftain Roll Call” is hosted by Bill Tipple.

Students in Aaron Gregor’s TV Production class help produce and record the show.

“Chieftain Roll Call” is sponsored by Easton Water Solutions.
