The Bellefontaine High School Drama Club will present their one-act play “The Pitch” Saturday, November 11th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 12th at 2 p.m. in the BHS auditorium.
It’s a 30-minute, very cheesy and lighthearted play where a hopeful writer pitches idea after terrible idea to a producer for different TV movies and shows. It’s very silly and whimsical. Admission is by donation.
Director Brice Henry said, “This drama club is very small (8 people), very inexperienced (all freshmen and sophomores), and very fun. They have been working hard to learn the ‘ins and outs’ of the stage and drama process.
“It’s certainly not the most groundbreaking production, and some may even need to have scripts with them. However, they’ve not given up, have put forth many hours of work, and are proud of what they are doing. They deserve to be celebrated! Please come and encourage them this weekend.”
