Bellefontaine Elementary School will host Kindergarten Screening and Registration on May 23rd-26th.

Children who will be 5 years-old on or before August 1st, 2022 are eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2022-2023 school year.

Parents are encouraged to register an eligible child by calling the elementary school at 937-599-4331 before May 13th.

Registration notices are being sent home with elementary school children and with children attending local pre-school programs. Additional notices are available at each school.

Parents, please bring the following to kindergarten screening:

Child

Child’s birth certificate

Social Security card (optional)

Immunization record (by health district or doctor)

Proof of residency (copy of gas bill, electric bill, rental agreement, etc.)

Recent photo of your child

Custody paperwork (if applicable)

Driver’s license

Attending the Pre-Kindergarten Screening is an important first step in your child’s journey through school. Screening of each child’s communication skills, hearing, vision, and academic skills provide information for planning the best educational experience for your child.
