Krista Van Buskirk became the latest senior to be inducted into the Bellefontaine High School “Caciques” chapter of the National Spanish Honor Society.

Van Buskirk took Spanish through level 5AP and met all of the requirements for membership including completing at least 4 years of Spanish, maintaining an A average throughout all coursework, and using the Spanish language to promote a friendly, positive environment which encourages cultural celebration and diversity at BHS. Not only did Krista study Spanish throughout her entire high school career, she was instrumental in planning and running Spanish Club during her senior year.

Van Buskirk, who recently graduated with honors, will attend Wright State University in the fall and has plans to minor in Spanish.
