Students in Mrs. Daniels’ and Ms. Reser’s 3rd grade classes celebrated the season by adopting grandparents.

Each 3rd grader selected a resident at Campbell Place in Bellefontaine to bless.

Over the last few weeks, students have written letters, made ornaments, and purchased gifts.

Ms. Reser said, “We have had so much fun imagining the smiles on our adopted grandmas’ and grandpas’ faces.

“The families in our class have been incredibly generous and thoughtful. More than I could have predicted.”

The 3rd graders are hopeful to hear from their adopted grandparents and continue to connect throughout the school year.

They’re celebrating love and learning that there is magic in giving!
