The Bellefontaine Middle School choirs have released an inspirational music video.

The choirs were set to have a concert Thursday night during the parent teacher conferences. The concert has been cancelled, but the students got together to perform their combined piece in a virtual format.

“I Ask For One Day” by Jim Papoulis uses lyrics written by a 7th-grader who responded to a writing prompt.

BMS Choir Director Brice Henry said, “This inspirational piece has produced a lot of great discussion in the choir classes about what students hope for in their lives. The text explores the power of music as a catalyst for peace.”
