Bellefontaine High School has launched a new club.

The Chieftain Backers is a student-led club designed to increase student attendance, support, and enthusiasm for BHS sports and activities.

Here are details on the club:

Cost: $20 for the 2022-2023 school year

Benefits:  

• Admission to all BHS home sporting events in 2022-2023
• A Chieftain Backer T-shirt
• Special Jock Block nights at BHS home events with gift certificate prizes
• A yearly $500 scholarship to (1) senior boy and (1) senior girl member who shows outstanding school spirit throughout the year  
• Give students a voice in BHS Athletics functions throughout the year
• Members can participate in production of live home events (announcing, play-by-play, video, production, etc.)

Functions:

• Collaborate with the Jock Block to put on special events at each of the BHS varsity sports (gift certificate give-away)
• Live Stream home BHS events throughout the year
• BHS Coaches Corner Show with Don Hensley
• Chieftain Roll Call podcast with Bill Tipple
