The mask mandate at Bellefontaine Middle School has been extended.

Bellefontaine Superintendent Brad Hall contacted the Logan County Health District about the mandate.

He was informed the requirement is being extended until Wednesday, September 29th.

Hall said, “The district has seen the number of cases at the middle school level off and we are hopeful that our COVID+ numbers will drop to the point where masks can once again be optional. Your patience and support is appreciated very much.”

The mask mandate went into effect on September 1st.

The health district issued the order.
