
Seven Bellefontaine City Schools teachers have been awarded Mary Florence Sours Grants for this school year.
The Mary Florence Sours Grant was established by Flo Ann Sours Easton in 1990.
Flo Ann created this fund to support innovative programs that enhance the quality of education in Bellefontaine City Schools in honor of her aunt, Mary Florence Sours.
Ms. Sours, who died in 1989 at the age of 94, was a Bellefontaine native and an elementary teacher and principal at BCS for 40 years.

Their combined grants total $8,000 to fund creative projects for 830+ BCS students.
