
Three Bellefontaine Middle School runners excelled in the national cross country meet in Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday morning.
Grace Brown capped her phenomenal season by finishing 2nd overall in a field of 212 girls.
Brown raced the 4K course in a blazing time of 14:15, which broke the previous course record.
She earned All-American honors for the second consecutive year.
Jake Moreland placed 25th in the boys race in a time of 13:59.
He also earned All-American honors.
Oliver Grandstaff finished 44th in a time of 14:32.
Moreland and Grandstaff took home bronze medals as they helped Team Ohio finish 3rd in the state team race.
Brown, Moreland, and Grandstaff are eighth-graders.
