Bellefontaine High School senior Crew Sheeley flexed his muscles at the state powerlifting meet at Kenton on Saturday.

Sheeley finished 7th in the 210 lb. weight division.

He lifted 250 lbs on bench press, 420 lbs on squat, and 500 lbs on deadlift for a combined 1,170 lbs.

BHS strength and conditioning coach Morgan Fultz attended the meet.

Fultz has been working with Sheeley for the last year.

The competition featured more than 400 male students.
