A timely hands-on lesson culminated at Bellefontaine Elementary School on Friday.
BES first graders have been learning about needs, wants, goods, and services in our economy.
Students had the chance to earn play money for great work and great choices.
The learning unit concluded today with the first grade fair.
Students could shop for loved ones at the Santa Shop, enjoy a snack, decorate a treat, make a craft, have their nails painted, get a temporary tattoo, or even play basketball.
Thanks to first grade families for their donations, and the BMS Chieftain Pride Ambassadors for their help.
