
The Bellefontaine varsity girls bowling team finished 8th at the Division I State Tournament at Wayne Webb's in Columbus on Friday.
The Lady Chiefs advanced to the championship round and dropped their quarterfinal match to Centerville in four games.
BHS won the first game 174-168.
Centerville won the next three games by scores of 181-154, 170-162, and 176-174.
Individually, Bellefontaine senior Aubrey Hudson placed 12th with a 614 series.
She was named Honorable Mention All-Ohio.
Classmate Kayla Watkins was 25th with a 566 series.
The Lady Chiefs won the CBC title and finished runner-up in the Division I District Tournament last week.
Watkins was the CBC Kenton Trail Division Bowler of the Year.
