To cap off their geometry unit on surface area and volume, students in Mrs. Noffsinger’s 6th grade math focus class recently created a model of “Geometrocity.”

Pairs of students worked through phases of construction to create a part of the city with specific geometric elements.

They used nets to create 3D models of the buildings.

Finally, they worked as a class to decide on a layout and connect their maps. The final product is Geometrocity!
