Bellefontaine High School students and staff showcased their giving spirit during the holiday season.
The BHS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) recently hosted a food drive for Thanksgiving.
FCCLA members contacted Lutheran Community Services and learned the non-profit needs certain items for the holidays.
Those items include boxed potatoes, canned meats, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, mac-n-cheese, and hamburger helper.
Each high school A/I class (activities and interventions) accepted donations for several weeks.
Mrs. Standley’s A/I class won the food drive contest.
Mrs. Easton’s class came in second.
Several teachers and support staff also donated food items.
