Bellefontaine Elementary School held its third Chieftain Leader ceremony of the school year on Thursday.

Students in grades K-2 were recognized for following the B-Block pledge every day.

The pledge is to be safe, be respectful, and be a learner.

Bellefontaine City Schools Truancy Officer Sean Egler presented each recipient with their award.

Here is a list of each award recipient (student, grade):

AnnLee Chapman – Kindergarten

Ali Clark – Kindergarten

Ellise Echipare – Kindergarten

Zaydn Glass – Kindergarten

Emmy Harmon – Kindergarten

Bekitt Jacobs – Kindergarten

Rhyett Mosley – Kindergarten

Raelynn Adams – 1st Grade

Selina Ball – 1st Grade

Ashton Mai – 1st Grade

Drew Matt – 1st Grade

Noah Springs – 1st Grade

Victoria Vargas – 1st Grade

Ella Willett – 1st Grade

Bradley DuVall – 2nd Grade

Noah Erickson – 2nd Grade

Julian Floyd – 2nd Grade

Alex Holtkamp – 2nd Grade

Daphne Honigford – 2nd Grade

Grace Mack – 2nd Grade

Maddix Purtee – 2nd Grade

Briley Swank – 2nd Grade

Each student rang a bell after receiving their award.

Each recipient also received a T-shirt.

The ceremony is held after each nine-week grading period.

It’s the sixth year for the program at BES.
