The Bellefontaine High School Quiz Bowl team earned two big wins Monday night.

The Chiefs handled Indian Lake 325-125.

BHS then outscored host Northwestern 390-170.

Oliver Moreland led the Chiefs in the first match with 70 points.

Jeffrey Smith tallied 55 points.

In the second match, Smith had a team-high 55 points.

Moreland tallied 40 points and Nolan Core added 25 points.

Emma Crabtree delivered strong contributions during the bonus rounds.

The Chieftain Quiz Bowl team is 4-0 on the season.

The team will compete at Benjamin Logan on Tuesday, February 20th.
