Bellefontaine Community: While information is constantly changing, I would like to provide you an update, based on the best information we have today, our plan to start the 2020-21 school year. Just prior to the Fourth of July weekend, Gov. Please continue to be cautious and follow the directives and recommendation of our healthcare leaders. All reports show that we are flattening the curve of infection in Ohio. The only way that will continue, according to the experts, is follow what we have been told to do and not get too comfortable too quickly. Since being notified of school closings by Gov. DeWine, Bellefontaine City School staff have been working on plans to get lunch to students. Thanks to the work of our Food Service Supervisor, Winnie Jacks, and our Transportation Supervisor, Tammie Garman, the following plan has been developed. Our Daily Bread will be open from 8:30a.m.-6:00p.m. daily. Students in that vicinity can get to that location. They will be serving breakfast/brunch from 8:30a.m. – noon and send a sack lunch home with each students.   READ MORE...

Dear Parents, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine declared that all schools in Ohio will be closed starting the end of day Monday, March 16, and the closure will last for three weeks. That would have Bellefontaine City Schools closed starting Friday, March 13 for teachers to prepare remote lessons and resuming class on Monday, April 6. However, this is a rapidly changing situation that may include an extended duration of school closure.  READ MORE...
