Bellefontaine Elementary School kindergarten students recently wrapped up learning about Native Americans.
Their learning focused on how Native Americans survived by hunting and growing crops. Students studied maps of the United States to view where different tribes lived and what kind of shelters they built.
Everyone enjoyed learning about local Native Americans from Bill Davis and Todd McCormick from the Logan County Historical Society. Both gentlemen brought in artifacts to share and taught students how the items would have been made.
Thank you to Mr. Davis and Mr. McCormick from the kindergarten students and teachers!
