BHS War Memorial

With the 20th anniversary of 9/11 nearing, Bellefontaine High School is seeking additional names of service members killed while defending our freedom.

The BHS War Memorial was dedicated in May.

The Bellefontaine High School AGAPE Club raised $15,000 to pay for the project.

The memorial honors all BHS students and Logan County residents who have fought to defend and serve our country in times of war.

The names of the heroes who gave their lives defending freedom - from the Civil War through 2020 - are inscribed on a memorial plaque.

With eternal remembrance, we salute their sacrifice for our country. Our debt to these heroes can never be fully repaid, but we will never forget.

The War Memorial Board is asking for your help. If you know of any names missing from the BHS War Memorial plaque, contact Bill Tipple at [email protected] so the plaque can be updated by Memorial Day 2022.
