Four Bellefontaine Middle School girls will compete at the state track meet at Hilliard Darby High School on Saturday.

This is quite an accomplishment as only the top 24 from each event are invited (no divisions – just all of the schools combined).

The following Jr. Lady Chiefs will compete:

Callie Shumaker – 100 hurdles, 200 hurdles, 400m

Kelsie Snapp – shot put, discus

Harper Penhorwood – pole vault

Grace Brown – 1600m

Earlier this week, the BMS girls team captured their second consecutive CBC title at AcuSport Stadium.

Steve Henry is the Jr. Lady Chiefs head coach.
