Bellefontaine High School recently named its Seniors of the Month.
Name: Carter Snapp
Parents: Kerry and Lisa Snapp
Address: Bellefontaine
School activities and awards: Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Track and Field, DARE, and Buckeye Boys State.
If I were principal for a day: I would utilize my position of leadership to be a witness for Jesus Christ, make valuable connections with others, and encourage students to be driven.
Favorite school memory: When my brother Caden Snapp, my cousin Riley Neer, and myself all got to start the first football game against Sidney together.
People who have been an inspiration to me: Ben Davis, Lisa Snapp, Kerry Snapp, and most importantly my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Lately I’ve been reading: My Bible.
My advice to parents: Don’t let your kids do nothing. Encourage them to get involved with good activities, get a job, join a productive club, and work hard! Nothing great comes easy.
My biggest regret: Not being as driven and hardworking as an underclassman.
Next year: I will be studying engineering at one of the universities I applied to.
Name: Joslyn Robinson
Parents: Jim and Carrie Robinson
Address: Huntsville
School activities and awards: Soccer, Swim, Chieftain Leaders President, DARE Secretary, National Honor Society, Les Fons, Choir, Band, and Dance Coordinator.
If I were principal for a day: I would have a free catch-up and mental health day for all students.
Favorite school memory: Going to districts in swim three years in a row.
People who have been an inspiration to me: My mom, dad, and sister.
Lately I’ve been reading: Lots of textbooks for school as well as Colleen Hoover books.
My advice to parents: Don’t let your kid’s grades define them; success is not a letter.
My biggest regret: Not joining choir sooner.
Next year: I will be going to an undecided college and majoring in speech pathology.
