The Bellefontaine High School Service Learning program has been busy with projects in the community this school year.
The program recently recognized the high school athletic coaches working as volunteers.
There are 28 individuals volunteering their time to Bellefontaine athletes in the 2021-2022 school year.
The BHS Success Center designed and purchased T-shirts from JC Sports. The cost of the shirts was covered by Foursight Financial and Eichholtz, Daring, & Sanford Funeral Homes. Dairy Queen donated gift certificates to each coach.
BHS volunteer football coaches Richard McDaniel and Luke Varner joined “Chieftain Roll Call”, a BHS Key Club podcast, to discuss the project and their service to the Bellefontaine community. Former coach Bart Pattison was featured, too.
