With Veterans Day approaching, Bellefontaine High School is recognizing BHS grads currently serving our country.
High school students in the new service-learning class along with the BHS Key Club are spearheading the effort.
The students have spent the last few weeks compiling a list of all active Bellefontaine alums. The group will continue collecting names and addresses. You can send additional names and information to Rick Reed at [email protected].
The students are sending care packages to each active-duty service member.
Mr. Reed and Chris Miller teach the service-learning class.
BHS students in Jason Brown’s government class are also writing letters to these military members.
Bellefontaine kindergartners in Lisa Plank and Lauren Burkhardt’s classes are sending cards to them as well.
