A Bellefontaine grad encouraged her students to remember law enforcement this month.

Kayce Horn, who teaches 3rd grade at Reynoldsburg, had students color pictures for Thank a Police Officer Day.

The national event is held on the 3rd Saturday in September each year.

Kayce’s mother, Sandy Horn, is the head cook at Bellefontaine Middle School.

Sandy presented the pictures to BMS School Resource Officer Allen Huffman this week.
