The Bellefontaine High School Marching Band performed in the Hometown Christmas Parade Friday night.
Local residents crowded into downtown Bellefontaine to kick off the Christmas season with the annual parade.
A huge crowd watched the parade make its way down Main Street from the Logan County Fairgrounds.
42 entrants participated, including several businesses and churches.
The parade was sponsored by Citizens Federal Savings & Loan.
Santa arrived on the Bobcat Multi-Works float.
After the parade, Santa met with children at The Photo Booth on West Chillicothe Avenue.
The top float award was presented to the Bellefontaine Police Department and Bellefontaine Citizens Police Academy Alumni. This was a combined entry featuring The Grinch.
