Bellefontaine Elementary School teacher Alicia Dinovo is the district’s winner of the 2024 Quest Federal Credit Union Teacher of the Year Award.

Dinovo is finishing her 15th year teaching for Bellefontaine City Schools. She teaches first grade.

Dinovo said, “I’m very honored to have been nominated for this award. I’ve had amazing mentors and colleagues along the way who have helped shape me into the teacher I am. I also had wonderful examples of what a caring educator looks like during my education at Bellefontaine City Schools. I see every day as an opportunity for me to pay it forward with my students and their families.”

Dinovo was nominated by three of her students’ parents.

Quest Federal Credit Union honored six outstanding educators at their annual awards banquet Monday afternoon at The Syndicate in Bellefontaine.

One recipient was recognized from Bellefontaine City Schools, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Riverside, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, and Calvary Christian.
