History came to life in the inaugural Bellefontaine Middle School Night at the Museum last Friday.
Eighth-graders dressed in a variety of costumes and delivered a speech describing the person they were portraying.
Parents and staff had a chance to see George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, Betsy Ross, King George III, and more.
Nearly 50 students participated in the presentation, which featured a historical figure from 1492 to 1877.
The students started working on the project last September.
The program was possible thanks to a Mary Florence Sours Grant worth $1,500.
American history teacher Diann Jordan spearheaded Night at the Museum.
She based the program on the 2006 Ben Stiller movie.
