•A style of education in which students learn via electronic  an online media as well as traditional face to face. 

Remote [virtual] LEARNING
• The student and the educator, or information source, are not physically present in a traditional classroom environment.  Information is relayed through technology such as discussion boards, videoconferencing and online assessments.

Blended learning classes offer flexibility for teachers in how thy present material and for students in the pace and variety of learning approaches they experience.

Studies have shown that because Blended Learning incorporates multiple methods of instruction from an assortment of perspectives, it proves to have effective learning outcome for students. 

eNGAGEMENT
Because most students today are surrounded by technology in their everyday life, they often engage more easily with material when technology is incorporating. Multi methods allow student peer engagement as well.

DIFFERENTIATION
Blended learning incorporates a variety of instructional approaching, learning activities can be tailored to address numerous learning styles.   Teachers can measure each student's individual learning and provide instruction that meet the child where they are and give them appropriate lesson material.

DATA DRIVEN
Educational technology programs provide individual student data which gives teachers insight on each student learning so they can address gaps and personalize the learning.
