Parents,

Since being notified of school closings by Gov. DeWine, Bellefontaine City School staff have been working on plans to get lunch to students.  Thanks to the work of our Food Service Supervisor, Winnie Jacks, and our Transportation Supervisor, Tammie Garman, the following plan has been developed.

Our Daily Bread will be open from 8:30a.m.-6:00p.m. daily.  Students in that vicinity can get to that location. They will be serving breakfast/brunch from 8:30a.m. – noon and send a sack lunch home with each students.  In addition, buses will deliver lunches to the following locations from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. daily:

  • Heritage Court
  • Union Station
  • Southtown Meadows
  • Brookstone Apts.
  • Red Bud/Shady Lane

Lunches will be delivered:

Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, March 20, 2020

Monday, March 30, 2020, through Friday, April 3, 2020

Lunches will not be delivered during Spring Break.

We can only provide meals for students who attend Bellefontaine City Schools.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide meals for families or children who are not school age.  Please understand and support us.

If there are extraordinary circumstances involving meals, Transportation Supervisor, Tammie Garman has graciously offered her cell number to support the needs of our students.  She may be contacted at (937) 935-4069 to discuss specific needs.

United way will be putting the stops on their web page also.

Sincerely,

Brad Hall
