Only essential visitors will be allowed into a school to reduce the likelihood of someone bringing COVID-19 into the building. Whenever possible, visitors to the school will be limited to the office area and schools will develop procedures for dropping off items in a safe manner without entering the building. 
Parents/Guardians needing to meet with an administrator, teacher or guidance counselor must schedule the meeting in advance. Use of phone or video conferencing will be encouraged.
Until further notice, visitors will not be allowed to eat lunch with students or provide volunteer services at the school due to concerns of exposure to COVID-19.Visitor badge photo






Restrooms
To the extent possible, students will practice social distancing regarding restroom usage. 
Restrooms will be stocked with soap and paper towels. Hand soap will be available in all restrooms. 
All students will be asked to wash their hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds. 
Restrooms will be cleaned regularly throughout the day and at night.

Water Fountains
Water bottles are highly encouraged for students and staff to drink from throughout the school day. Traditional use of a water fountains will not be allowed. Water fountains will only be used to fill water bottles. If you are unable to purchase a water bottle for your student(s), please contact your student's teacher.

Recess
There will be assigned areas of play during recess.
Restrictions of activities that encourage student contact may occur, such as no soccer games, no basketball games, etc.
Staffing of playground supervision will be adequate to monitor and encourage active movement and discourage social gathering of large groups of students.
During inclement weather, students will have indoor recess within their own classrooms and will be encouraged to play and socialize within their own personal learning spaces.
