I’m leading a team developing a therapy for people with Essential Tremor (ET), which is a shaking of the hands, head or feet that occurs with intentional movements. It’s a debilitating disease with no known cure.

I love the challenges of making something new and helping people live better lives.

What activities were you involved with as a student at Bellefontaine High School?

Sports: Golf, Cross Country, Track, Tennis

Others: Band (Marching and Concert), some theatre and musicals

Favorite memories of growing up in Bellefontaine

Great small town experiences – nice people, rural environment, “where everyone knows your name”

Friday night football games.

What about Bellefontaine City Schools helped prepare you for your post-HS endeavors

Good basic skills – math, science (Mr, Horn’s Advanced Biology…)

Learning to balance academics, activities and good time management.
